"Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow charity; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is error, truth; Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; and Where there is sadness, joy. O, Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; To be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying to ourselves that we are born to eternal life. Amen."
- St. Francis of Assisi
1 John 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
The Church is not a building -it's people. We meet to sing to, learn from, and fellowship with Jesus and each other. Our style is this: in a small meeting place, or in a home, or outside, we all meet together - there are no classes for kids/teens. We worship in song, testimony, prayer and the teaching from God's Word - the Bible. Sometimes we share a meal.
This sums up our goal: (from 1 John 1:3,4) "We saw it, we heard it, and now we're telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simple this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!"
Just the basics: Love God, love each other. Our gatherings are discipleship training. We study His Word not just to fill our heads with knowledge, but to fill our hearts with Him and His love for all people. God is a Lover of people, and invites us to join Him in His love - to be a lover like Him. Through our relationships with people, God is accomplishing His purpose in our hearts, and that is: conforming us into the image of His dear Lover-Son, Jesus. This spiritual growth only takes place in those who follow Jesus in His love for all people - not necessarily in the "spiritual" things we may do (see 1 Corinthians 13). We encourage each other to shine His light in all we do, sharing His love with all people, opening our hearts and our homes to those Jesus is drawing to Himself. In doing so, Jesus calls us His friends (John 15).
Our sure foundation is God's Word which we believe to be wholly truthful and without error.Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see [experience] God." (Matthew 5:8). When the heart is pure it will recognize truth - in God's Word and in life. What we do proceeds from what we believe in God's Word. And what do we believe? A good summarization can be found in The Apostle's Creed (click box on bottom of left column). Also, to get an idea of what we emphasize, read this great lecture [click below on FIND OUT MORE] entitled The Weight Of Glory by C. S. Lewis. Lewis writes about God's glory in us and through us - a glorious weight we bear for His glory, and a glorious reward in the Kingdom to come that awaits Jesus' friends - those who join Him in His love for people.
Each of us has a part: God, you and us. GOD'S PART: God has provided for you forgiveness and eternal life (through Jesus), He's called "The Hound Of Heaven" - pursuing you with His love and mercy, to restore you, guide you, watch over you and train you for His kingdom to come. He fills us with His Sprit and actually prays for us. YOUR PART: To believe in Jesus and follow Him with all your heart. OUR PART: to support you - to help you discover and follow Jesus and to support you in your relationships with people. We believe the abundant life is discovered, experienced, tested and established in relationships - with God and people.
